Family of FOUR

 My heart still can't believe that we're a family of FOUR! I'm just beyond grateful that we're finally all home together. Life as Chu and I know it has been forever altered.

Our precious girls arrived on Tuesday, January 24th at 34 weeks. We’re overjoyed and completely smitten. We just can’t believe that they’re ours! We’re so grateful that there’s double of everything. Double love, adoration, and joy.

Also, we praise God for a smooth labor and delivery process. Honestly, it could not have gone any better. I would love to share my story one day, but right now I just want to let everything sink in and focus on making sure the girls make it home safely first. I will share that God was so good about giving us a great doctor and a team of nurses who walked us through everything. We’re forever thankful to everyone.

Chu and I have been officially discharged, but the girls are still in the NICU. They’re making progress every day and I now understand what they mean when they say, “Small, but mighty!” We know they’re resilient and they continue to make Chu and I so proud to be their parents.

Truly, we just can't wait to be united together as a family. We also can't wait for our family and friends to meet them as well. They have so many people ready to love on them.

Baby Shower

 Had the sweetest baby shower for the girls.

So happy to have this great group of ladies as my support system!

One of the games required the ladies to draw a picture of what the twins would look like. There were so many good ones that it was hard to choose. I plan to keep these for my sweet girls and see if they end up looking like any of these. 

These cookies were baked by a friend, and they not only looked so cute, but they tasted sooo good!

Answered prayers & double the blessing! 

Sometimes it still feels surreal, but we're celebrating with grateful hearts. We thank God for loving us and having a better plan for us than we could have ever planned for ourselves. Family and friends, please continue to pray for us as we prepare for this new adventure, especially for our little ones.

Chu and I are also so thankful to be surrounded by such talented friends who have been able to capture the sweet seasons of our lives. 

Chu and I laughed when we realized he was holding the ultrasound upside down, but it's okay.
